✉ Shige (NEWS) chose Nino when asked who he wants to switch places with (based on voice). Both Shige and Koyama have high praises of Nino's voice (including his singing voice). If Nino has to choose within Johnny's, who will he choose?
Nino is happy to hear that and the person who he wants to switch places with is Gou-kun from V6. When he switch places with Gou-kun, Nino wants to talk excessively. He wants to see a quiet person to keep talking. Of course, because there are allocated lines to speak in stage plays, movies, dramas etc...you can listen and see the person speaking.
But Nino thinks that Gou-kun is someone who usually doesn't talk much. So he wants to see how much he has to talk before he feels tired. Probably the rest of V6 will be the most shocked. Nino wants to talk so much to a point where the rest of V6 will ask "Gou, Gou what's wrong?"
A lot more footage of 嵐のワクワク学校 that was not shown during the WS, so posting this. And the 奥様運び game is, for me at least, one of the CUTEST things that happened this year so far.
I still can't get over how ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE it is. I don't think Nino enjoyed it very much but it made my day when I saw the footage...whoever made the decision that Nino should be the 'wife', thank you (*´꒳`*)
(19 Nov. 2016, NHK) is a two hour long special based on a Kindaichi Kosuke mystery by Yokomizu Seishi. Hasegawa Hiroki plays the famous detective Kindaichi. The setting is 1946, on a fictional island called Gokumon-tou, located in the Seto Inland Sea. Kindaichi intended to convalesce in Gokumontou, at the invitation of his war buddy Kitou Chimata, the successor son of the island's powerful clan called the Kitou Family. However, Kindaichi arrived alone, bringing bad news of Chimata's demise. He is introduced to Chimata's three remaining sisters, who are pretty but act very childish and immature. He also meets Sanae (Naka Riisa), the lovely cousin of Chimata. He learns that the family's patriarch has died, and that they are waiting for Sanae's brother Hitoshi to come home from the war. Meanwhile, the affairs of the house are entrusted to the three village elders, Head Priest Ryonen (Okuda Eiji), Village Mayor Araki (Sugawara Daikichi), and Chinese medicine practitioner, Koan-Sensei (Ayata Toshiki). However, the truth is, Kindaichi is not on the island to recuperate. Before Chimata died, he uttered the words: "My sisters will be killed!" Sure enough, as the three sisters are killed off one by one in horrible bizarre manners, Kindaichi tries desperately to find the culprit and in the process, gets to encounter family intrigues, secrets, island mentality and discrimination, and eccentricities, amidst the backdrop of a turbulent post-war era.© original text by: earthcolors

Translating this SP
took a long time, and required a lot of re-checking since I really wanted to get this right. This is one of Japan's most famous mysteries after all. And as far as I know, no one has translated the novel in English, and this particular adaptation is the closest one ever made to the original story. The language itself is difficult, since the characters are talking in old jargon, plus the dialect (a friend said it's hard even for the ordinary Japanese person). But even if I checked and rechecked my subs a number of times, I'm sure it's still not perfect, and some of you may not even like how I choose to translate some of the words and lines.
Here are are now my notes regarding Gokumontou but...Warning 1: Spoilers ahead!!
Warning 2: Brace yourself, these notes are embarrassingly long and full of ramblings haha
Warning 3: Please remember that I did not read the novel; much of these were taken from internet research.( Read more... )
