Here is this week's NEWS ZERO, which is the very first of 2018!

Former NEWS ZERO special commentator Hoshino Senichi-san, mostly known as the fiery manager who brought a baseball title to the Tohoku region when it was still reeling from the Great East Japan Earthquake, passed away on 4th January. So the whole ZERO family pays him a tribute.

Ichimen this week is about the possible participation of North Korea in the upcoming PyeongChang Winter Olympics Games next month, and its political implication.

We also get a short preview of the upcoming NTV Olympics theme song sung by Arashi: "Shiro ga mau".
