I'm glad it helped you. Some things have changed since this entry was made (it was back in 2007), for a first, the price of the Arashi ticket on the black market went up UP UP orz Also the JE shop has been reorganized but it's still the same system as I mentionned.
Also if you're staying in Tokyo and not using a JR Pass, it'll be better to make a Suica card that you can buy at most auotmatic machine in any station (I bought mine last year at the one at the entrance of Harajuku station).
