I feel like I'm in August, it's 30°C here @_x I'm melting on my chair, faning myself with my Pikachu Ichiwa m(_ _)m
After the crappiest day of my working life last night, I had a wonderful surprise this morning, as, all at once, my "We can make it!" LE single FINALLY arrived (took 3 weeks @_x STUPID FRENCH POSTAL SERVICE!), my "H" magazines and "Maiding Story" single from amazon (what a surprise, it's by DHL, so it arrived in less than a week \o/ ), and my package from
Rin <3 which the stupid French postal service said had been lost by stupid French delivery man, but I don't know how, it finally found its way to my home, so all is for the best!!!
Ureshii na~

Couldn't help myself but exposing them right next to eachother <3

I really hope my AAA DVD won't take 3 weeks to come too @_x (usually, CDJapan packages takes 1 week to come, it's just that this time, French delivery service decided to be slow and stupid (national days off + strike) It's already hard resisting reading the comments of the lucky people who already saw it! >< I've almost finished downloading it from ammi's CB, but I really want to wait for my DVD and watch it in the living room on my big TV, sitting on the sofa *0*
And so ne, I also bought the single "Maiding Story" by Kanzen Maid Sengen... Whyyyy did I buy a single made by maid waitress from Akihabara otaku cafe who don't know how to sing properly???? Aaaaah but it's the Otaku Dance song!! (used in "Arashi no Shukudaikun" #13 X3333 *yes I'm crazy*)
When I went to Paris last week-end with Jennifer (my fangirl friend from work, with whom I'm going to Japan this summer. It's a miracle that I've found a Japan fangirl in my tiny lost town, morever, working with me, and who knew about JE @_x Like really... A MIRACLE!), we were sticked to my iPod on the train, and she wouldn't stop watching "La Familia" (because she's such a Jun fan, but she just recently strated with Arashi, because of me, but she's not used to their TV Shows
yet), and I said with an evil smile "PLEAAAAAAAASE!! Can I destroy your image of the kakkoi-Jun??? Ne~ Can I show you your Jun-sama in stocking dancing an otaku dance??? ONEGAAAAAAI >X3"
So we watched
Arashi no Shukudaikun #13 (thankies
techni_teddy <3<3<3<3<3<3<3 This is a must-see must-see must-see!!! This is my favorite Shukudaikun episode, with episode 14 too (new year's comic haiku contest XDDDD) I must have watched those 2 at least 50 times!), and we laughed our heads off on the otaku dance (and the other parts too), and we started singing the song and doing the stupid dance and of course, wanted to have the song!
But seriously, I couldn't find it (it's not like it's really famous ne XD ), so err... I bought it (with the H mags <3), so here it is for those who wants
to look stupid it \o/

I've also wrote the lyrics XDDD It might sounds crazy, but it was a great exercise!!! Finding back all the right kanjis from the lyrics booklet took me 2 hours, but I had fun! (I nearly mastered using the virtual Japanese keyboard XD And thank you
Wiktionary, I've learned a lot today \o/ )

"suteki na goshin-sama"
That's one of the rare time when I feel it's a curse that I made big progress in Japanese since the past 6 months and that I can understand most of the song globaly XDDDD Starting with the "Ah~ This flavor, it's master's choice <3" at the beginning XDDD Haaa but it's even funnier watching Aiba-chan jumping on those lyrics!
No I'm not going to their cafe in Akihabara this summer no no... No I don't know that it's right next to the subway station no no no...And while I'm at the "songs vaguely related to Arashi because of their TV Show" (because Arashi owns my soul, seriously @_@ ), like... 3 weeks ago, I went into an "Air Guitar" frenzy and watched all of their baka prestations XD And I really wanted THE air guitar song! You know,
this one (those who haven't watched the first Air guitar ever, it's from
G no Arashi #12, also
subbed by the
stormy_team <3), but really, I couldn't find the name! I spend an afternoon on it, I ended up on scary Air guitar sites (even found out Mario-san on some pictures of Air Guitar conventions @_x ), learned that there was really serious
school of air guitar and an
international air guitar contest (which a Japanese guy won last year) XDDDDD
And totally by accident, a week later, I went with Jennifer to a bikers convention. This was the first time I went to one, people were really nice, they were all dressed really hard-rock, on their Harley Davidson and all. So we spend the afternoon, and there was background music, you know, Queen and such. And suddenly... THE AIR GUITAR SONG 0.0 I grabed Jennifer's arm
"I WANT TO KNOW THE NAME OF THAT SONG!
- Sure, OK let's ask the guy who is in charge of the music.
- WAAAH SO HAPPY!!! I've heard it on an Arashi TV Show and I've searched for it!!
- ...... I should have known it was Arashi-related ^A^;;;;
- MWHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA \^0^/"
(those who knows me since a long time knows that it's my normal behavior when I'm fangirling XD )
So enough said, it's
Deep Purple - Highway Star and now you can all look baka dancing the otaku dance and doing air guitar, thank you Winky \o/So now, onto something more usefull, I wanted to do this when I came back from Paris (seeing Ninooooo <3) last time, but didn't really found the time, so as I went back last week-end here is:
Japan in Paris! (beware of LOTS of Japanese food pictures XD~)
If you ever go to Paris, those are the
must-go places for any JE/Japan fangirls
like me!
It's mainly around the 1rst "arrondissement" (how do I translate that? District? Well anyway...), which is the Japanese district; like.. 80% of Japanese people *0* Japanese shops, Japanese restaurants, Japanese grossery shops, Japanese travel agency, YUME DESU!!!
(the pictures are mixed from those of February and those from May, so if you see "Letters from Iwo Jima" adverstising, that's perfectly normal XD)
Your main stop will be the subway exit "Pyramides" on line 7 or 14.

That's it, you're in Japan ^0^
WATASHI NO RAKUEN!!!!

(and I've killed my layout once again!)
On the first floor, they have Japanese books (about everything, it's a library after all) and the magazines are on one side, JE mags of course, teens mags (Seventeen, Popteen...), weekly mags (Josei jishi...), cinema, sport mags etc...
This time I went crazy and bought 10 magazines (like... anything JE related that I didn't have!) They also had back issues, and the ORICON STYLE WITH ARASHI ON THE COVER <333333

And underground is all about manga (original version of course), isn't the HYD corner pretty?!!!! *0* (I wanted to steal that flyer so badly XD) And there was a sticker with Jun and Mao on all the manga covers <3 And I couldn't belive they had those calendars and photobooks! I immediately bought "Honey and Clover" movie photobook (because I had the rest) and I had to restrain myself NOT to buy Oguri Shun's photobooks *0* AAAAH but I've got a free "Honey and Clover" transparent thingy (don't know how to call it, you can put papers and the like in it) <3

You've got it, Junku is a nightmare for your wallet!

When you enter the store, they go "Irashaimase, konnichiwa" \*0*/
Here you can buy books, CDs (not so much Johnnies, I only found Kitty Gym and V6), DVDs (LOTS of complete drama series), magazines, mangas... that's the like I found by accident XDDD

I forgot to take pictures this time ;0; It's the world of anime goodies
and fake Chinese import JPop CDs and DVDs XDDD, the shop is SO BIG, we spend an hour and a half in it! Just standing in front of the Hello Kitty window you wanna cry!

I've never entered this shop T0T Everytime I went there, it was closed m(_ _)m... Anyway it's a gothic lolita clothes shop, REALLY expensive clothes (lots of Vivienne Westwood), only one version for each! You're not allowed to take pictures, but as it was closed XDDDDD Notice the "Baby the stars shine bright" bag *0* (those who saw Shimotsuma Monogatari/Kamikaze Girls will know what I'm talking about ^^ )

This is a Japanese grossery shop, where you can find aaaaaaaaaaaall the Japanese food you need (curry, noodles, sauces, candies etc etc....), all imported from Japan, so it's all REAAAAAAAAAAAALLY expensive!! But they didn't have MOW ice-cream (even if we directly asked the seller "Do you have MOW ice-cream? You know? MOW?? MOW???????" (he was all "WTF???") "M.O.W! MOW!!" "Aaaaah MOW? No we don't have it ^0^;" (*sob* but...
c'est booooooon ^0^d *yes I'm crazy*). No O'zack chips in sight, neither Cx1000 drinks (even if there were drinks that looked exactly like it!), no Pino *sob* I took once again some Morinaga Hi-Chew (because of Ayumi <3), this time, only the grape-flavor ones, bacause the raspberry and apple ones are too chemical for my health @_x )

The first floor is for sauces, candies, and fresh things, and the second floor is for noodles, tea, nori, kitchen equipment etc...

This is a really nice Japanese and Korean food store, a LOT more cheaper than Kioko, less choice of course, but it's really nice! Their korean daifuku (mochi/glutinous rice cake) where MECHA OISHIII!!

If you already went to Japan, you know this concept, their are billions of those manga cafe in Japan, you can even spend the night in them @_x Well here is the only one in France (and you can't spent your night in it XD ). You go in, they ask you for your name and give you a ticket with the hour you came in, and your free to do what you want: read all the mangas that you want that are in the cafe, all the drinks are unlimited and for free (cold or hot), you can play, still for free, to PS2 games (I've spend 30 minutes playing Guitar Hero II XDDDD Singing "I SEND AN SOS TO THE WOOOOOOORLD!!!" looking really like I was doing Air Guitar), they also lend you PSP with games for free if you want, or a portable computer with unlimited internet access, still for free! Their are also lots of goodies you can buy, and also mangas of course ^^ The atmosphere is reaaaaaaaaaaaally friendly, you can tell they're all passionate by Japan of course, and the place is lovely and cozy! <3 When you've finished, you go back with your ticket, and pay for the number of hours you stayed (on "normal" hours, it's 3€/h, you can also have special prices for the day, or be a member etc...)

As we arrived just for the opening, nobody was there and I could take all the pictures I wanted ^^ (and eat my breakfast btw XD~)

This is THE BEST Japanese restaurant I've ever been to! It's super tasty, super cheap
and super crowded. You can also drink unlimited tea (I don't like tea so, well...), don't go there around 1:00PM or you'll have to wait for ~15 minutes to seat!

UMAI YO~ UMAI YOOOOOOOO~ These were the best ramen I've ever eaten!! My onigiri (my very first one!) was with salted plum (OISHII!!)

Another great restaurant, really crowded too around 1:00PM! It's bigger than Naniwa-ya, and a bit more expensive, but still, you'll be quickly filled for less than 10€ (and they serve you more ramens than in Naniwa-ya!)

UMAI YO~ UMAI YOOOOOOOO~² The gyoza were ASBOLUTELY DELICIOUS!! Jennifer took korokee (
like Ohno made in MMA#82 X3333) who were really delicious too! WELL ALL WAS DELICIOUS WHAT CAN I SAY! Céline next to me also took Katsudon. Sorry for the weird angle, but I was against the window, and it was crowded XDDD

GoogleMapThis is a restaurant at the far end of Sainte Anne street, it's not run by Japanese people this time but Chinese, but it was delicious nevertheless!!!

OISHIIKATTAAAAAAAAAAA DESU!!!! The gyoza didn't look like gyoza to me, but they were really delicious, not to say that the beef-and-cheese-thingy (that I forgot the name of) was the most delicious thing I've ever eaten in my life *g* Amandine also took a "home made salad" with sashimi and wazabi (ZOMFG!). Mine was torudon: fried chicken on rice with sesame. It was a little dry but delicious nevertheless!
NOW I'M ALL HUNGRY AGAIN!!!! Why do I live at the other end of France where there is no real good Japanese restaurant *pout*
Thanks to Amandine, Céline and Anaïs (
pockysiana <3) that I met in February because of Nino, and who are lovely fangirls and showed me all those places that I didn't know of!
And because this time I didn't have to pay for the train and lovely Amandine-chan let us stay at her appartment, I could spend all that saved money at those shops XDDDDI hope this will help some people, because seriously, I was like "I don't care about the Eiffel Tower, let's go to the Japanese district XDDDD"
Oyasumi nasai minna ^0^
Great photos and descriptions... even including the addresses ^^ Seeing JE products next to french descrip makes my heart happy that arashi are loved all over the world haha
I'm with you, forget the eiffel tower! ;P
