I think I remember hearing about that when it happened... how awful. This whole election process has been cringe-inducing, and this ceremony feels like the icing on the cake-- although, the real test is going to be after the inauguration's over. Getting through Friday might be tough, but it isn't even the big issue. (Kind of like how a wedding can be a huge, stressful deal, but the marriage itself is where the challenge really lies... I keep going to that analogy in my mind.) *sigh*

You couldn't pay me enough to go to D.C. on Friday! :P I just hope everyone who is there stays safe.
