As a non-smocker who lives in a country where smoking is banned in every closed public facilities and who has been to Japan, I swear I can't wait for this ban to be adopted. I understand that smoking is already really strict in Tokyo (some streets are banned from smocking, you have to smoke at the designated areas outside the subway), and Japanese people are all in all really clean about it (they carry pocket ashtray a lot!), but passive smocking is really an issue, and I really hope they can achieve a better environement for everyone :)
