[subs EN+FR] NEWS ZERO - Understanding that war report + comment about Trump (2017.08.14)
Hello everyone!
Here is this week's News Zero. No ichimen this week, Zero family is commemorating the 72 years since the end of WWII, and Sho-san did a coverage on the medical records that were saved on the soldiers suffering from PTSD.
Also we have Sho-san and Murao-san comment about Donald Trump's speech on the Charlottesville tragedy.
So just to warn you, this is really heavy stuff you're about to watch, but really interesting and important. If you've watched and liked "Letters from Iwo Jima" and "Flags of our fathers", you will learn so much from this.
As it was really important to me, I also translated it in French :)
In other news, the translator has opened her Dreamwidth account, so please have a look at it, she posts regular translations of Arashi related interviews and articles, and some highlights from TV and radio shows :

I felt it is more appropriate to put sources of information, also I tend to search a bit and read around before subbing NZ, so better share what I've found ^^

As an American I feel like I should apologize to the world for that man that is in the White House. His words are not the words of the United States of America. His words are the words of a very small, very ignorant group.

honestly, when i was watching this, i was having mixed feelings. i feel sorry for these soldiers but then i will recall what i've read about what they did to my countrymen, to Koreans and even Chinese.. on how they can be brutal. but when watching i also felt sorry for the soldiers. i guess they have no choice. they need to survive.
i guess, they are now the kindest people as they learned from the trauma during the war.

I really wishing there will no more war!!
and it's really a shame if America once known as melting pot for over years become eliminating differences just because of Trump!
